Austin Showcase a success; finishing district play this week

The Nolan Catholic Women's Soccer team headed south for the winter and came back unbeaten in their second straight tournament. The Lady Vikings outscored their opponents 7-0 on the weekend defeating the Rouse Lady Raiders and SA Christian finishing up with a scrimmage on Day 3 with a mix of players from St. Stephens Academy.

Storming out to a 3-0 lead in the opening 15 minutes of play in Round Rock on night one set the tone for the weekend. Mya Ulloa got the Lady Vikings on the board first off a nice combination with Laci Earixson. Bella Tankersley teamed up with Savannah Meyers for the second goal just minutes later.

Lady Vikings leading scorer, Earixson strikes again with the games 3rd goal in the 15th minute of play off a pass from Paola Vazquez.

Teaming up in the back for another shutout between Alle Steining, Alyssa Spotts, and Grace Gnatovic kept the game out of reach for the Lady Raiders.

Earixson scored her second goal of the game and Meyers and Avery Pick each scored one of their own. Gnatovic registered her first point of the season with her assist to Pick on the final goal of the game.
